The location is terrific!! It is a 3 minute walk to the ferry to Cozumel and it is right in the center of all things tourist in Playa. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were as comfortable as any I have ever slept on. The roof top pool/bar was a fun place to go. But it can get crowded for loungers and umbrellas for shade. Beers are on the expensive side and cocktails are just a plain rip off expensive. Staff was fun and professional at the same time. If I needed any help at all it was easy and fun to interact with The Fives staff. Check in was a rough. There was a huge rush and influx of guests at the same time and our room was not ready for us to get into until 4pm. No big deal.....we left our luggage with the bell clerk and went down the street to have a beer and some chips.

Everything at this hotel was wonderful, so clean and so easy to walk everywhere. The terrace and pool are so beautiful and the food is incredible! We came for our anniversary. I booked by mistake at Hotel Boutique Kinta Kan that was closer to the beach that supposed to be a 4 stars hotel, and only stayed there the first 15 min and left. We lost our money but it was so worthy to just leave and book instead with this amazing hotel. I do not like to complaint but do not want other couples like us to have this bid disappointment, do not book Hotel Boutique Kinta Kan, everything was oxidized, the bathroom licking everywhere and not clean at all. We could not open the door to the room because it was all rusted.
